  • Amazing cover. I bought a few to keep all my mattresses protected, not from anything in particular, but I liked the idea of a keeping my mattresses pristine. I've had these for at least 3 years, and this past week one my dogs had an accident on the bed. Urine soaked through the flat sheet, the fitted sheet, a mattress pad, and I was so bummed to see the encasement also soaked. HOWEVER, when I removed it from the mattress, the mattress was as clean as ever! I was so elated. Certainly an excellent buy for $40 to protect an expensive mattress. I know waterproofness can wear in the wash and depend on the accident itself, so I'll specify that I've washed and dried the encasement as directed just once when I received it, the volume of liquid was pretty significant (likely the full bladder of a 60lb dog), and the accident was discovered within 20 mins or so, so it wasn't sitting for an extended duration (like overnight).

    The encasement is a pretty good fit and doesn't slip around. Its not something I even notice is on the bed. Its as though it isn't there at all, so its as comfortable as my bed. It is not thick, in terms of being plush, which is perfect.

  • Excellent, fit wonderfully, and thick! I did it alone, put box spring against the wall and stood on a tall step ladder. Put it on like a pillow case. Then carefully settled it onto the frame and finished the zipper. Very nice, would get again.

  • Love this encasement! I bought it for my new mattress (T&N) and it fit perfectly! It does not make the mattress hot and it does not feel like plastic (I have no idea how it works but it does!). I spilled some water and my mattress stayed dry. It was a great investment! Great price and great quality. The company also seems very responsive and the mattress comes with several plastic hooks in case you have to open it again. Overall a great purchase!
